He was in an on-and-off relationship with Shriya Saran, and both of them were eventually married to each other on 8 September 2012. The couple got engaged in 2005 and married two years later. Their wedding was held at Arya Samaj in Hyderabad on 8 September 2012. Their first child, a son named Sai Ramesh, was born on 4 August 2013. Their second child is due in April 2014. In 2014, he made his lead in the family drama Yevadu which was directed by S.S. Rajamouli and the critic-turned-director produced under his own banner. S.S.Rajamouli had written the screenplay for the film.[21] In 2015, he produced a Tamil movie, Uppalapoli which acted as the first time Tamil movie produced by Naresh.[22] Naresh acted as the main lead in the film alongside Sanghavi.[23] His next release was Naandhi in which he played the role of a producer.[24]
