Micro Touch Trimmer Manual

The manual squeeze action of the Tweezerman is trickier to use than others. The slide cutters of the Micro Touch Max are harder to navigate in ears and noses. The Remington and ConairMan trimmers both have twist-activated switches, which is somewhat annoying. On the other hand, their shape and texture are nice to work with. The ConairMan Lithium is narrower than we think is ideal but didn't hamper function.
The Tweezerman nylon is sensitive to static electricity. Do not pull the probe from hair if static is present on your hands, or on your hair. The nylon will pull away from the hair and will not slice neatly. This can be fixed by using a static free machine before attempting to tweeze. Do not use the included mini trimmer if you plan to do any make-up or tanning. It's not powerful enough to penetrate those layers.
The micro touch is flexible and easy to maneuver. It's soft and comfortable on the skin. And because it does not have a moving part, it's extremely reliable. The aluminum shaft feels solid and sturdy. When it comes to styling the hair and scalp however, this tool is slower and less precise than competitors. It won't cut or cut smoothly down through the thicker layers of the scalp, and because of that feature, the shank is a bit longer than we would like. It can get in the way, and it will dig into some of the thinner cuticle layers if you're not careful. But, it's particularly adept at cutting the fine and thin, and it's not as weak in hand as some other super slanted trimmers.
