Cannot Load Idapi Service Library Delphi

One big difference from Windows packages is that installing a BDE Delphipackage causes your application to be automatically registered with theregistry. If the installation fails, the application is not registered andit's not possible to simply start the application. This problem is easy tofix. Just make sure that your installation package is placed in theapplications directory of the registry.

Hi Daniel,Do you have a detailed error description of the problem? Have you tried running the BDEengine.exe program to see if it behavesthe same? What is the full output from the BDEengine.exe program, which willhelp us be able to debug it? I've seen several reports of the so library behaving strangely when the userhas not used the installshield express. Has Installshield changed their own installprotocol in the same way? We've had reports of BDEengine.exe being unable toinstall the library. The reason for this would be that the installer is not settingthe correct paths for the so files (or is not setting them at all). I wouldsuggest that you download the latest release of the BDE engine, to be sure that the installer's.NET Framework installation is correct. Thanks for your helpRobert

Hi there,I've got a problem with the BDEengine.so library. When I'm trying to install the lib it gives me an error,that the lib was installed succesfull. And when I'm trying to run an app thatuses the lib, it gives me that the lib wasn't installed yet.I've followed the instructions on the web, and exactly the same error.also I've tried to reinstall all the libs, and the same error.
